Dr. Patrick Callas, ND
Naturopathic Physician
Bio
Dr. Patrick Callas, ND is a primary care naturopathic physician with over a decade of experience working with patients of all ages. He brings curiosity and empathy to his consults and takes a multi-faceted approach to treatment plans, working with his patients to co-create practical, individual solutions that work for them. Dr. Callas utilizes a wide scope of healing tools such as herbs, nutrition, exercise, acupuncture, pharmaceuticals, injection and intravenous therapies. He also has specialized training in chelation (the removal of heavy metals), oxidative therapies (ozone and hydrogen peroxide therapy), and neural and scar therapy.
While Dr. Callas has a general practice, his areas of clinical focus are mental health and mood (anxiety, depression, PTSD), neurodiversity (ADHD/ASD), cancer care, gut health, autoimmunity, chronic pain, and longevity. In particular, he draws from his lived experience on a personal journey with anxiety, IBS and receiving the diagnosis of ADHD as an adult, offering a depth of interconnected wisdom as well as empathy and compassion to patients working with these challenges.
Dr. Callas grew up on Salt Spring Island, and practiced here at his clinic Island Natural Health until 2017 when he moved to Vancouver and joined the Empower Health leadership team. He has now returned to Salt Spring and is excited to be a part of the integrative health team at Madrona.
